  10. HP GlancePlus/UX software is an on-line performance monitoring and
  11. diagnostic tool for HP-UX multiuser systems and workstations.  The
  12. software provides interactive examination of current system performance
  13. for monitoring system workloads and resolving bottlenecks.  Using HP
  14. GlancePlus/UX, system administrators can quickly characterize how a
  15. system is performing and respond effectively to problems.

  18. Product Ordering Instructions:

  20. Initial customer order of HP GlancePlus/UX must include both a license
  21. and media option.  Subsequent orders may omit a media option, at the
  22. customer's preference.  Order options for Series 800 and Series 600
  23. systems according to the appropriate system tier.  Order single, 10,
  24. 25, or 50 license bundle options for Series 300 and Series 400
  25. workstations according to the number of nodes that will be monitored.
  26. Note that these license bundle options apply to single sites.  For the
  27. purpose of these licenses, a single site is defined as a continuous
  28. local area network, unbroken by any serial links, including long haul
  29. and common carrier services.

  130. HP LaserRX/UX software is a performance management tool for HP-UX
  131. systems.  The software provides comprehensive system activity
  132. information to help customers in system resource management tasks such
  133. as load balancing, system tuning, resource planning, and diagnosis of
  134. recurring problems.  Using HP LaserRX/UX, system managers can get the
  135. most out of their HP-UX systems.

  140. HP LaserRX/UX is comprised of two components: the Analyzer and the
  141. Collector.  B1766B, the HP LaserRX/UX Analyzer software, is ordered as a
  142. single line item.  Orders for the HP-UX 7.0 Collector software must
  143. specify the base product number, a tier option, and a media option.
  144. Orders for HP-UX 8.0 Collector software must specify the base product
  145. number, a tier option, a media option, and a user manual if one is
  146. desired.  Orders for the S/700 Collector software must specify the base
  147. product number, a media option, and a user manual if one is desired.

  149. B1766B, the HP LaserRX/UX Analyzer software, will work with any of the
  150. HP LaserRX Collector software.

  273. HP RXForecast software is a capacity forecasting tool for either MPE or
  274. HP-UX systems.  The software, which integrates into the HP LaserRX user
  275. interface and uses data collected by HP LaserRX, helps to confidently
  276. forecast future system resource utilization.  A documented methodology
  277. is provided that guides the user through the capacity planning process
  278. and assists in forecast interpretation and validation.
